However giving through Tlatseng brings so much value and benefits such as: convenience to your doorstep, we do the heavy lifting on vetting, tracking and paperwork, we offer structured giving options and project management, full transparency and tracking, and rewards!
Yes! The selection process enforced by Tlatseng includes pre-screening and eligibility checks, document verification, impact and needs assessments, site visits and audits, risk and sustainability reviews, and continues monitoring through relationship building. Many of our partners are already locally trusted organizations, and we further strengthen their accountability through ongoing collaboration and transparency tools.
Our focus is currently on South Africa, with a growing commitment to pan-African humanitarian efforts. We aim to expand across the Africa continent by partnering with trusted grassroots and international NGOs and NPCs already making a difference in their communities. At Tlatseng, trust and impact, not geography, define our reach.

Unlike crowdfunding platforms where anyone can list a cause, we curate our partnered non-profits' needs and campaigns and partner only with proven non-profits. This ensures your generosity is going to trustworthy initiatives. Plus, we offer project management services to help non-profits follow through on their promises, ensuring transparency and impact.
Absolutely! A non-profit can both give and receive. When your organization has an overflow, giving back is not only generous, it’s a powerful example of stewardship. It shows you're not a reservoir, but a river: letting resources flow through you to where they’re needed most.
No additional donations go toward any need or campaign once it’s fulfilled. As soon as 100% of the required funds are raised, the need or campaign is marked Completed and removed from our active real-time needs and campaigns list. It then joins our Causes Met & Celebration board for the month, so you can see which causes you’ve helped bring to life.
Tlatseng provides robust monitoring and evaluation services to track the impact of your donations. This includes regular progress reports, beneficiary feedback, and outcome assessments, ensuring transparency and effectiveness in the use of funds.
At Tlatseng, we work only with vetted non-profits committed to transparency and integrity. After a donation, partners must show how funds were used according to donor intent, ensuring accountability. If issues arise, we engage and support the non-profit to resolve them. In rare cases of non-cooperation, we may remove the organization and its campaigns to protect donor trust.
Yes! You can make one-time or monthly donations using cryptocurrency.We warmly welcome cryptocurrency donations and treat them with the same care, transparency, and accountability as traditional EFT contributions. Crypto donors also enjoy the same benefits, including access to our tax-saving incentives and rewards program.
Yes! Tlatseng offers flexible giving options, allowing you to support multiple vetted or unvetted charities through recurring donations or one-time gifts spread over time. This way, you can diversify your impact and help various causes consistently according to your preferences.
Yes! You can choose to remain anonymous as a donor. We respect privacy preferences while still providing you with secure receipts, reports, and updates.
Yes! You can easily set up monthly donations via debit order. We collect your donation each month and carefully manage and track your contributions based on your instructions, whether allocated to a single cause or distributed across multiple charities and campaigns. Please note that standard debit order fees apply, including fees related to the setup or in cases where a debit order fails.
Yes, you can! Tlatseng warmly welcomes legacy gifts and bequests as a meaningful way to create lasting, long-term memories and impact. Even a small contribution can help provide school supplies, put food on a table, or move us one step closer to a much-needed school bus. Whether R100 or R5,000, it goes where it’s needed most. You’re not just giving. You’re taking hands with others to refill empty bowls and restore hope. We believe unity commands a blessing, and when we act together, our impact becomes greater and lasting. It is however recommended to not give less than R100 due to bank fees etc.
No problem! Tlatseng's Value Statement is: “You determine the outcome, we validate the need.” At Tlatseng, we respect every donor's intent. If you'd prefer to support a specific individual or cause outside of our vetted charities or what is listed, we are happy to facilitate that, as long as the instruction is clear. Please note: for donations to qualify for a tax certificate, the cause must fall within a recognized humanitarian category as defined by local regulations.
Yes. Tlatseng lets you choose from active real-time needs and fundraising campaigns hosted by our vetted non-profits. Whether it's emergency relief, education, food security, or women-led development, you’re always in control of where your impact lands.
Absolutely! We provide reports, updates, and stories from the field. Because we work directly with our partner organizations, we’re able to gather and share timely progress. Therefor donors feel valued and involved beyond just the transaction.
Tlatseng does not profit from your donation. We charge a standard administrative fee to cover essential operational costs, and when specific instructions or project management is required, we apply a consultancy fee to support the associated operational needs and project delivery costs. In addition, we’re supported through strategic partnerships with business, NPCs and NGOs that engage us for donation oversight and storytelling services. At every step, we prioritize transparency and trust, so donors can give confidently knowing that their contribution directly supports the mission.
Tlatseng’s cost structure is transparent and straightforward. We charge an administration fee based on the donation method used, and a consultancy fee that reflects the complexity of your instructions or project needs. Once we receive your donation, we deduct the agreed fees and transfer the remaining funds to your chosen non-profit. Rest assured, all fees are pre-approved in advance with the recipient non-profit to ensure clarity and mutual agreement.

This is a valid concern. That’s why Tlatseng partners only with thoroughly vetted, reputable organizations and uses secure payment systems. Our platform is designed to protect donors and ensure funds reach legitimate causes.
Tlatseng strives to maintain strict financial transparency with our partners and ensure administrative costs are kept minimal and necessary. When you give a donation, all relevant fees are subtracted before paid out to the charity according to prior agreement with the charity. We hold the charities responsible to the instruction received from you and supply you proof of where it was spend.
Yes! For South African donations, Tlatseng NPC is proud to be Section 18A compliant.We issue official tax certificates and receipts upon request, making your contribution both impactful and eligible for tax-deductible benefits under South African law.

Yes! Contributions made through Tlatseng can qualify for B-BBEE points under the Socio-Economic Development (SED) element of the scorecard.Our partner non-profits focus on initiatives that directly benefit Black South African individuals, as defined in the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice. This ensures that your support is eligible for full recognition under SED criteria, provided it meets the 75% Black beneficiary requirement.
Tlatseng supplies comprehensive documentation to support your B-BBEE verification process, including Beneficiary affidavits confirming Black South African status, Detailed impact reports outlining the use of donations, Accreditation certificates for training programs in partnership with our non-profits (if applicable), and Section 18A tax certificates for qualifying donations.
